Corporate Membership Committee Chair: Evette Blackmon, The Coca-Cola Company
The Corporate Membership Committee will provide a corporate forum promoting the mutual success of corporate members and WBEs by connecting our supplier diversity programs and resources to support each other and GWBC®. This committee is open only to GWBC® corporate members. This group is the first line of contact with potential and new corporate members. As a direct contribution to the growth of the organization, the focus for this committee will be recruitment, retention, and new corporate member orientation. Additionally, this group will share knowledge and provide direction on supplier diversity trends and issues that impact the mission and programs of the GWBC®.
Marketing Committee Chair: Dianne Flem, Spitfire Marketing + Creative
The Marketing Committee will review and recommend strategies for marketing the GWBC® and its activities, to increase visibility and brand awareness in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. To achieve these objectives, this committee will review and standardize all current methods of communication between GWBC®, its corporate members, WBEs, and the public constituency. As an extended team member, this group will work in conjunction with the Technology Committee to monitor and enhance website development projects that include content management.

Working in conjunction with the GWBC® Program Manager and the event planner, the Events Committee assists to spread the word about the advantages of GWBC® Corporate membership and WBE certification through signature and educational programs. This committee is comprised of women businesses and corporate members to jointly assist in organize GWBC® events/activities and other networking events.

The Education Committee is open to WBEs and corporate members who wish to influence GWBC®'s educational programs. Committee members help interview potential presenters, organize educational programs, and create opportunities for business development and WBE enrichment. Breakfast & Answers/ WBE Orientation Sub-Committee Chair: Carol White, HAMCO - Atlanta
The Breakfast & Answers Committee will plan and facilitate regular sessions for potential members seeking information about GWBC®. The Mentor/Protégé Program will bring the experience and guidance of our successful business owners to other members of the GWBC®, who may be just starting a business or who might be looking for a Mentor.
