Little PINK Book presented its 7th Annual Fall Empowerment Series, to advance women in business, in Atlanta and New York City on November 10 and November 17, respectively. The sold-out luncheons featured panels of prominent female business leaders discussing career advancement strategies. This year's event also featured PINK Awards honoring outstanding female business leaders who have contributed greatly to the advancement of other women, including Roz Lewis, Executive Director, Greater Women's Business Council.

Sherrie Aycock and Tara Olson, Co-CEO’s of AllPoints Research, Inc. in Winston-Salem, NC have been named the Small Business Administration’s 2011 Women in Business Champions of the Year for both North Carolina and SBA’s Southeast Region IV. These awards honor them for their commitment to the advancement of women’s business ownership. They were nominated by Barbara Kasoff, President of Women Impacting Public Policy, Inc. (WIPP) in San Francisco and Susan Solovic of Susan Solovic Media.

J.I.T. Manufacturing (Cowpens S.C.) just received news this week that they are one of three companies selected to participate in the Boeing Company's Small Business Development Mentoring Program. A Boeing Management Team toured the states of South Carolina and North Carolina looking for potential new suppliers in the latter part of 2010, they noted J.I.T. Manufacturing's excellence and over-the-top willingness to become part of the Boeing family.
