CHANGE IS GOOD!!!!

GWBC® is always looking for a reason to celebrate and at the top of the list for 2009 is the announcement that we will be officially changing our name from the Georgia Women's Business Council to the GREATER WOMEN'S BUSINESS COUNCIL (GWBC®) due to the growth and expansion of the organization beyond the state of Georgia.

WELCOME NORTH AND SOUTH CAROLINA!

We are very excited about the certified women business enterprises (WBEs) and major corporations in North and South Carolina joining GWBC®. Together we can make the vision of becoming the premier women's business organization a definite reality. The New Year will bring a fresh beginning and the opportunity to establish new friendships and sustainable partnerships while continuing to provide certification, education and notification of procurement opportunities from our corporate/government members to our certified WBEs.

Our theme for 2009 is Choices...Challenges...Connections and we are looking forward to YOUR participation in GWBC's blueprint for YOUR success. There will be several opportunities to grow your business through committees and networking. We encourage all of our certified WBEs, corporate/government members and stakeholders to visit the CALENDAR OF EVENTS for more information.

We wish you much success and prosperity in 2009 and are looking forward to another GREAT year!

This is a great opportunity for major corporations such as Duke Energy headquarters in Charlotte, NC and Lexis Nexis located in Atlanta, GA to become engaged in our organization. Our goal is for Duke Energy and Lexis Nexis to meet with certified WBEs in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia who can provide quality products and excellent customer service.
